Code of Conduct
Meet Magento Egypt 2025 is an open and inclusive event. We are committed to providing a safe and harassment-free environment where all participants are treated with kindness, fairness, respect, and tolerance. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes spamming attendees on the online platform. Please be selective, respectful, and intentional when connecting with others. By following this Code of Conduct, you help us create a positive experience for everyone.
Guidelines
All Meet Magento Egypt participants (attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, organizers, staff, and any other individuals or organizations that engage with the event) are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct during:
- The event in Cairo on November 30, 2025
- Social media, networking apps, and online channels related to the event
Participant badge swapping is strictly prohibited. Official badges must be worn at all times, including the afterparty.
Unacceptable Behavior
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
- Verbal or non-verbal comments related to gender, identity, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, age, religion, or lifestyle
- Violence, threats, or violent language
- Intimidation, stalking, or following (online or offline)
- Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
- Displaying sexually explicit or violent content
- Inappropriate physical contact or invasion of personal space
- Harassing photography or recording
- Sustained disruption of talks or sessions
- Unsolicited advertising or spam
- Encouraging or advocating for any of the above
Reporting
If you feel unsafe, unwelcome, or witness any unacceptable behavior, please report it immediately. Reports can be made personally or anonymously. All information will be handled confidentially unless disclosure is required by law.

In-person reports will be handled with respect and care. You may bring someone to support you. You will never be asked to confront the violator directly, and your identity will not be shared without your consent.
Enforcement
Any participant violating these rules may be asked to stop the behavior immediately and must comply. The organizers reserve the right to take any necessary action, including permanent expulsion from the event without refund, to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
In extreme cases, we may involve law enforcement or appropriate authorities.
